For a long time, one of the main challenges in the packaging industry was closing tubular net bags without the use of additional materials. Traditionally, these bags are sealed with a metal or plastic clip, making the packaging not fully recyclable. The MoNo Clipper provides the solution: bags are securely and reliably sealed with heat, completely without clips. The name MoNo Clipper refers to “No Clip” and emphasizes that the machine produces packaging made from a single material. This makes the packaging easy to separate and fully recyclable.
Technical innovation and reliability
The biggest challenge was ensuring a strong seal so that the packaging remains reliable and does not tear open. Manter has successfully achieved this. The MoNo Clipper is suitable for a wide range of products, including onions, citrus fruits, nuts and Brussels sprouts.
The machine seals tubular net packaging with a PE label and has a capacity of up to 30 bags per minute, for packaging weights ranging from 250 grams to 2 kilograms. Thanks to the automatic tube-change system, the net supply remains continuous, enabling uninterrupted production. At the same time, the integrated labeler provides flexibility by supporting various label types, including strip, wineglass and seal-to-seal labels.
