Just in time for sweet potato season, Calbee Inc. is releasing a new addition to its popular café menu: “Red Angel’s Sweet Potato Fries Plain.” Launching on August 6, 2025, this unseasoned version highlights the pure, natural flavor of Calbee’s signature Beni Tenshi sweet potatoes. Available in both regular and mini sizes, the fries deliver a crispy skin and sticky-sweet inside—no seasoning needed.
Also relaunching the same day are two fan favorites:
- Red Angel’s Mont Blanc Soft Serve – Black Sesame
- Red Angel’s Baked Sweet Potato Crepe
These revamped desserts now feature baked sweet potato paste instead of the previous steamed version, enhancing their richness and depth of flavor.
All items will be available at select Kuradashi Yakiimo Kaitsuka stores in Japan starting August 6.
