Calbee, Inc. has announced the launch of its first-ever collaboration with the iconic TABASCO® Brand, introducing the Pizza Potato Tabasco® Sauce Flavor. This limited-edition snack will be available at convenience stores nationwide from August 18, 2025, until late September 2025.
Part of Calbee’s long-running Pizza Potato series, first introduced in 1992, the new flavor blends the signature rich, melty cheese of Pizza Potato with the tangy heat of TABASCO® Original Red Pepper Sauce. Using a unique spray-dried powder derived from the original sauce, the chips deliver a refreshing balance of sourness and spiciness—perfect for summer snacking.
The packaging prominently features the TABASCO® logo and bottle design, clearly signaling the collaboration to consumers. Each bag contains 60g and will be priced around 200 yen including tax.
To celebrate the launch, Calbee is running a special social media giveaway campaign between August 25 and August 31, 2025, offering winners cases of the new chips, exclusive merchandise, and, in a special “Double Chance” prize, a one-gallon bottle of TABASCO® Original Red Pepper Sauce.
