Calbee, Inc. will operate “Kuradashi Yakimo Kaitsuka,” a specialty store selling aged baked sweet potatoes, carrying products from Calbee Kaitsuka Sweet Potato Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kasumigaura City, Ibaraki Prefecture; President and CEO: Kuniyuki Ando), a group company engaged in sweet potato processing and wholesale.
Kuradashi Yakimo Kaituka offers a variety of products in stores and online, helping customers discover new deliciousness in sweet potatoes. The Aeon Mall Tsuchiura Store (formerly Aeon Tsuchiura Store) will be renovated and reopen Monday, March 16, 2026, transforming from a store focused on product sales to one where customers can enjoy freshly baked sweet potatoes and a casual cafe menu.
To celebrate the reopening, for the first seven days from March 16 to 22, 2026, customers who spend over 3,000 yen (tax included) will receive a free refrigerated baked sweet potato, limited to the first 150 customers per day, one bottle per pair (group). When the sale ends, one small bag of the “Angel Fragment” series will be given. Following this, from March 23 to 31, 2026, friends of the official Kuradashi Yakimo Kaituka LINE account can receive a 30% off coupon for cafe menus or a 100 yen off coupon.
