ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging and material science, proudly recognizes the efforts of employees who participated in this fall’s FlexImpact Clean-Up Days, held November 4–5 across multiple sites. Conducted in conjunction with the Flexible Packaging Association’s (FPA) inaugural FlexImpact initiative, the event united teams worldwide in support of environmental care, community engagement, and social responsibility.
Led in part by Cindy Haven, senior director of environmental, health, and safety at ProAmpac and chair of the FPA EHS Committee, employees worked throughout industrial parks and community grounds to collect hundreds of pounds of litter and recyclables.
“Our teams continue to show that environmental action starts locally,” said Cindy. “Through FlexImpact Clean-Up Days, we’re not only improving the spaces where we live and work but also reinforcing our shared responsibility to care for the planet.” Their efforts demonstrated ProAmpac’s ongoing commitment to cleaner, healthier communities.
Global Participation and Local Impact
Teams across North America and the United Kingdom took part in this year’s cleanup, focusing on their plant properties and nearby public areas. Together, volunteers collected a wide range of debris, including plastic bottles, cans, wrappers, broken pallets, pipes, and cigarette butts—removing both everyday litter and larger, bulky waste to help create cleaner, safer surroundings and support the health of their local environments.

FlexImpact Clean-Up Days align with ProAmpac’s broader mission to reduce waste, champion responsible resource use, and foster partnerships that create meaningful environmental change. Each year, these initiatives strengthen the company’s commitment to shaping a cleaner, healthier future, one site at a time.
