Mega-Tip Rotary Bin Tipper
Designed for processors handling large 5-tonne bins, the Mega-Tip provides controlled, spillage-free discharge into the line. Units are custom-built and can be integrated with automated feed and return conveyors. Features include electric-over-hydraulic controls, automated empty-bin detection, and comprehensive safety systems.
Wet Hopper C-Series
A central component of many high-volume wash lines, the Wet Hopper C-Series provides soak, pre-cleaning, buffer storage, and flow regulation. Available in six sizes (5–12 m), the system can handle up to 65 tonnes per hour. Air agitation, torque sensing, automated drain valves, and optional debris-removal systems contribute to consistent performance and low maintenance.
Barrel Washer
Wyma’s Barrel Washer offers gentle and effective cleaning for a range of root vegetables. A rotating perforated drum, adjustable water levels, and variable-speed control allow operators to tailor wash intensity to crop and soil conditions. The unit is available in multiple sizes with optional automated valves, integrated elevators, and water-level control.
Mega-Polisher
For processors requiring premium surface finish, the Mega-Polisher is the world’s largest commercial vegetable polishing system. With two Vege-Polisher™ units operating in tandem, it can process up to 20 tonnes of carrots per hour. Operators can adjust brush and drum speeds to meet different product specifications.
Screen Sizer
The Screen Sizer provides mechanical grading using perforated rubber or steel screens. Throughputs of up to 30 tonnes per hour are achievable depending on configuration. Dual shakers, quick-change screens, and pintle ejection rollers support efficient and gentle grading for root crops and citrus.
Lift Roller Sizer
For accurate diameter grading, the Lift Roller Sizer uses adjustable roller spacing and multiple outlets to create three to six size grades. Available up to 2000 mm wide and reaching 31 tonnes per hour for potatoes, the system incorporates variable-speed control and low-maintenance components such as centralized greasing and automated chain oiling.
Octal Conveyors and Elevators
Wyma’s modular Octal Series conveyors form the backbone of many high-capacity lines. With belt widths from 300–1200 mm and lengths up to 40 m, they support throughputs of 15–60 tonnes per hour. Options such as cleats, goosenecks, and custom side skirts allow integration into a wide range of plant layouts.
Flume Systems
Flume Systems provide gentle, water-based transport for large volumes of produce. Standard models (F330–FW750) support capacities from 8–130 tonnes per hour and can be configured with dewatering and flow-dividing options to suit complex layouts.
Hydro-Cooler
The Hydro-Cooler rapidly reduces product temperature after washing to maintain freshness and shelf life.
