Itaueira Agropecuária S.A., a family-owned company with more than four decades of operation, confirms its attendence at the 2026 edition of Fruit Logistica Berlin one of the most important global showcases for the fresh fruit sector. The company is celebrating the resumption of its international market activities, which began last year after seven years focused exclusively on the Brazilian market, marking a new cycle guided by consistency, trust, and an absolute focus on quality.
Despite a challenging market scenario for Brazilian melons, in 2025 Itaueira advanced significantly, inaugurating a new farm with more than 2,000 hectares and a brand-new packing house in the countryside of the state of Ceará, northeastern Brazil. This expansion consolidated strategic commercial partnerships and validated the company’s business model in both domestic and international markets, reinforcing its reputation as a reliable supplier committed to high standards.
One of the key differentiators in this process was the on-site season-long monitoring of product arrivals in destination markets, carried out in close collaboration with international partners. This initiative raised the level of post-harvest monitoring, ensured greater quality control, and drove process improvements at every stage of the operation.
“In resuming international commercialization, it was essential to have our team ensuring that the true Rei® flavor crossed borders, delivering trust from the field to the table,” says Aryan Schut, International Commercial Manager at Itaueira.
For 2026, Itaueira projects a new level of delivery, with a full focus on consistency in quality and excellence in product flavor as the foundation for expanding its international presence. The goal is clear: to strengthen relationships, earn trust through flavor and consistency, and serve increasingly demanding consumers who value quality, traceability, and respect for nature.
